Coleman, the founder and guitarist of Pride & Joy, grew up in San Francisco. His first album bought was Meet The Temptations on Gordy Records (It’s what’s in the grooves that count!” as it says on the label). This began a lifelong love of Motown and all things soul, inspiring him to form Pride & Joy.
