Kirby Coleman

A native of the festive city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Kirby was born into a life of entertainment. From the sports field to the stage, he has been performing for large audiences since a young age. Long before joining Pride and Joy, Kirby attended Saint Mary’s College on a basketball scholarship, played semi-pro basketball, shared the stage with well known artists like New Addition, En Vogue, Paula Abdul and had two songs that charted on Billboard’s top 100 nationally. Along with his acting and singing ventures, Kirby formed Focus Fitness, a strength and conditioning business where he has trained and coached several high school teams and both college and pro athletes. But it is with Pride and Joy that you’re able to see Kirby’s love for music. While consistently in the studio working on original material, it is his rendition of Tower of Power’s “You’re Still a Young Man” that audiences can truly feel his passion for entertainment.
